Hi everyone –
I genuinely hope you and your family are staying safe and feeling well. We wanted to take some time to update you on Grueninger Travel’s plans on taking our next steps forward as we hopefully start seeing life get back to normal soon.
Across the country, virtually all the casinos have temporarily shut down. We’ve been closely monitoring changes and updates coming from our casino partners daily, and we’re pleased to hear the early reports of the steps being taken to make your next trip as safe as possible. The programs being put in place have made us confident in our casino partners’ commitment to customer safety, as they work closely with health authorities to ensure employees are trained on the right practices they can put in place to keep everyone safe.
Over six weeks ago, our first trip was cancelled, and many of the trips well into next month have been cancelled as well. That being said, we’re starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A few properties are hoping to be open soon, and we’ll communicate the intended re-open dates to you as soon as we hear them.
During these uncertain times, we’ve been grateful to spend more time with our families, and grateful for your patience as we’ve shifted to remote work. We intend to be back in the office starting May 4th, and we’ll keep our remote communication options available as well for the next few weeks.
As you’re planning your first and future trips back when casinos begin to re-open, we’re asking more than ever that you call us and make your trip reservations through our team. We’ve spent years building relationships and growing our program so that our expertise can give you the best experience possible.
We hope you and your loved ones remain safe, and together, we’ll come out stronger than before.
